KERALA BEACH TOUR Book It
DURATION: 9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS
DESTINATIONS VISITED: DELHI - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - KANYAKUMARI -
ALLEPPEY - KUMARAKOM - THEKKADY - PERIYAR - MUNNAR - COCHIN - DELHI
ITINERARY
DAY 1: DELHI - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - KOVALAM
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to airport for your flight to Thiruvananthapuram. Transfer to Kovalam.
Overnight at hotel in Kovalam. Your evening is free to enjoy the beautiful Kovalam beaches.
DAY 2: KOVALAM
After breakfast, you have the option of going on a full day visit to Kanyakumari to see
Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial, and Kanyakumari Devi Temple. Return to Kovalam for
the night.
DAY 3: ALLEPPEY
After breakfast you will depart by car for Alleppey. Along the way you can spend some time at
Veli Beach for water sports. In Alleppey you will stay in a resort where you can relax with some
ayurvedic treatments, if desired. Later you will visit a local village or enjoy a sunset cruise on a
country boat (optional, at own expense) .Overnight in Alleppey.
DAY 4: ALLEPPEY
Check in to your houseboat. Cruise through the backwaters of Kerala and stop for visits in
Kuttanadu, R-Block, Pathiramanal Islands and Vembanadu Lake. Overnight is on your
houseboat.
DAY 5: KUMARAKOM BIRD SANCTUARY - THAKKEDY
Early morning visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, After Breakfast, you will check out and
leave for Thekkady. After arriving in Thakkedy, the rest of the day is free for personal
activities. Overnight is in Thakkedy.
DAY 6: PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
In the morning you will leave for a boat cruise through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary . If you are
interested, there is an optional trip to several spice plantations and spice markets. Again, the
evening is free. Overnight in Thakkedy.
DAY 7: MUNNAR
After breakfast you will depart for Munnar. When you arrive in Munnar in the afternoon you can
visit a tea estate or go for a boatride on the lake. Overnight is in Munnar.
DAY 8: MUNNAR
The day is open to do as you wish. Overnight is in Munnar.
DAY 9: COCHIN - DELHI
After breakfast you will leave for Cochin where you will catch your flight to Delhi or another
destination. Tour ends
