ITINERARY
DAY 1 DELHI
On arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight is in Delhi.
DAY 2 DELHI
After breakfast you head out by car for a comprehensive tour of Delhi. Overnight is in Delhi.
DAY 3 DELHI - CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
Today you will be driven to Corbett National Park, one of India’s finest wildlife parks. You will
stay overnight at the park's lodge,
DAY 4 CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
The best time to view the wildlife is at dawn. Corbett has the densest tiger population in India
making it a perfect place to glimpse this magnificent beast. It is a sanctuary for over 50 other
mammals, including 580 species of birds and 25 different reptiles, elephants, sloth bears,
Himalayan black bears, lesser cats, wild dogs and crocodiles. Overnight is the park's
accommodations.
DAY 5 CORBETT NATIONAL PARK - AGRA
You can take an optional early morning safari, after which you will be driven to Agra. Overnight
is in Agra.
DAY 6 AGRA - GHANA NATIONAL PARK
Your morning sightseeing tour starts at the immortal Taj Mahal. You can spend several hours
exploring this sacred sight and learning its history before exploring Agra’s Red Fort set high
above the city. In the afternoon we depart for Ghana National Park at Bharatpur, stopping en
route at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight is in your hotel in Ghana.
DAY 7 GHANA NATIONAL PARK
Ghana National Park is one of Asia’s largest bird sanctuaries and is a UNESCO World
Heritage site. Dawn is the best time to bird watch here so you can arranged to take a boat
along the peaceful backwaters and wonder at the great variety of bird life - over 400 different
species have been recorded.
DAY 8 GHANA NATIONAL PARK - JABALPUR - KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Another relaxing day is spent at the park before a late evening transfer to the train station at
Jabalpur to board the overnight sleeper train to Kanha National Park. Overnight is on board
the train.
DAY 9 KANHA NATIONAL PARK
On arrival in Kanha, transport awaits you to drive to Kanha National Park. After settling into the
park's lodge the rest of the day is free to explore this natural haven.
DAY 10 KANHA NATIONAL PARK
This National Park is one of the original Project Tiger Reserves. You will spend the day on
safari travelling by jeep through the park which is one of India’s largest game parks. The tiger
population in this area has risen in recent years largely due to the efforts by Project Tiger to
protect this endangered species from extinction.
DAY 11 KANHA NATIONAL PARK - BANDAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Today you will be driven to another great National Park at Bandavgarh. After checking in to
your lodge you are free to take a jeep safari and explore the park.
DAY 12 BANDAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
It is up early once again to view the wildlife. An evening jeep safari is also scheduled.
DAY 13 BANDAVGARH - KHAJURAHO
Today you will leave the wildlife behind and drive to Khajuraho, a small town famed for its
intricately carved erotic temples. Overnight is in Khajuraho.
DAY 14 KHAJURAHO - DELHI
You will spend the day exploring these temples that draw visitors from around the world. The
erotic carvings on the temple walls have been the subject of decades of speculation and
mystery. In the late afternoon you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Delhi. You are met
on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 15 DELHI
We transfer you to the airport or station for your onward journey. Tour ends.
