ITINERARY
DAY 1 : SILIGURI
You are met on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and transferred to your hotel in Siliguri.
Overnight is in Siliguri..
DAY 2 : DARJEELING
You will be transferred to the railway station to board the Toy Train for Darjeeling. Overnight
is in Darjeeling.
DAY 3 : DARJEELING
You have a full day of sightseeing in Darjeeling. Visit Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise and then
stop off at Ghoom Monastery on your return to Darjeeling. The rest of the day is free to
spend as you wish. Overnight is in Darjeeling.
DAY 4 : DARJEELING - PEMAYANGTSE
Today you will be driven to Pemayangtse in the western part of Sikkim via the famous
Tukvar Tea Gardens. On our arrival in Pemayangtse you will check into your hotel.
Overnight is in Pemayangtse..
DAY 5 : PEMAYANGSTE - YUKSOM
You will visit Pemayangtse Monastery after breakfast and drive to Kheocheplari Lake and
Yuksom, an important trekking base of Sikkim. After lunch you will return to Pemayangtse.
DAY 6 : GANGTOK
You will be driven to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim via Rabongla and the famous tea
gardens, Temi Tea Estate. Check in to your hotel. Overnight is in Gangtok.
DAY 7 : GANGTOK - ENCHEY MONASTERY
Tour of Gangtok, including the Enchey Monastery, several cottage industries along with a
visit to the Research Institute of Tibetology and the Do Drul Chorten. After lunch, you can
visit the Rumtek Dharma Chakra Center and the Kaygu Headquarters. You will return to
Gangtok by early evening. Overnight is in Gangtok.
DAY 8 : SIKKIM - PHODONG MONASTERY
You can visit Phodong Monastery on the North Sikkim highway and Labrang Monastery.
You will return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight is in Gangtok.
DAY 9 : BAGDOGRA
Today you will return drive to Bagdogra to catch your return flight. Tour ends.
