ITINERARY
DAY 1:DELHI - NAGPUR
You are met in Delhi and transferred to Nagpur and your Pench National Park
Jungle Camp You are taken on an evening game drive into the Pench
National Park with the resident naturalists. Overnight is spent in the luxurious
comforts of Pench Jungle Camp.
DAY 2: PENCH JUNGLE CAMP
Morning and evening game safaris into the park for tiger and other wildlife
sighting are scheduled. Overnight is in your camp.
DAY 3: PENCH JUNGLE CAMP
Again, the day is spent taking morning and evening safaris into the park.
Another night is spent in your camp.
DAY 4: PENCH JUNGLE CAMP - NAGPUR
You are transferred by road to Nagpur in time for your flight to Mumbai. In
Mumbai you will check into your hotel and then take a tour of this glamorous
city that is home to Bollywood. Overnight is in Mumbai.
DAY 5: MUMBAI - BANGALORE
You are transferred to the airport for your flight to Bangalore. On arrival, you
will be driven to Mysore. A sightseeing tour of Mysore after you check into
your hotel. Overnight is in Bangalore.
DAY 6: BANGALORE - NARGARHOLE NATIONAL PARK
Today you are driven to Nagarhole National Park. Enjoy wildlife viewing on
the afternoon jeep safari trip, and spend the night in a cosy wildlife lodge.
Day 7: NARGAHOLE NATIONAL PARK
The whole day is spent at the park with free time to stroll around and enjoy the
lush environment. Early morning wildlife viewing and bird watching in the park
or a fantastic Coracle ride on the gorgeous Kabini River. Enjoy an evening
safari on the back of an elephant and stroll through the Nagarhole jungle in
true maharaja style. Overnight is spent at the wildlife lodge.
DAY 8: NARGAHOLE NATIONAL PARK - BILIGIRIRANGAN HILLS (BR
HILLS)
Today you will be taken to BR Hills. In the afternoon you can take an easy
going trek into the hills for wildlife viewing. A modern, comfortable camp is
set up for you in the wilderness, and dinner is enjoyed around the warm glow
of a campfire.
DAY 9: BR HILLS
You will go out for both a morning and an evening wildlife viewing and some
truly spectacular bird watching. Overnight stay is once again in your camp.
DAY 10: BR HILLS - BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK
We leave early in the morning for Bandipur. We arrive for lunch at the resort.
In the afternoon, a visit inside the wildlife sanctuary is made in jeeps.
Overnight stay at the resort.
DAY 11: BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK
Morning and evening wildlife viewing and bird watching. Overnight stay in the
resort.
DAY 12: BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK - OOTY
An early morning drive to Ooty. You reach Ooty in the afternoon and spend
the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay is in Ooty.
DAY 13: OOTY - MUNNAR - ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK
You will be driven towards Munnar and the Eravikulam National Park to see
the wonderful Nilgiri Thar. Overnight stay is in the resort. in Eravikulam
National Park.
DAY 14: ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK - PERIYAR WILDLIFE
SANCTUARY
A morning visit to the park for wildlife and bird watching is planned. Drive to
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in the afternoon. Overnight stay in the resort near
Periyar.
DAY 15: PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Enjoy a morning and evening boat cruise and witness the wild elephants
frolicking in the lake, or go bird watching. Overnight stay in the resort near
Periyar.
DAY 16: PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - KUMARAKORAM BIRD
SANCTUARY
Drive to Kumarakom in the morning. You will arrive at Kumarakom in the
afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in the resort.
DAY 17: KUMARAKORAM BIRD SANCTUARY
Enjoy the morning backwater cruise and in the evening visit the
Kumarakoram Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at the resort.
DAY 18: KUMARAKORAM BIRD SANCTUARY - KOCHI - DELHI
You will be driven to Kochi today. Spend a full day sightseeing in Kochi.
Transfer to the airport or station for your onward journey. Tour ends.
