ITINERARY
DAY 1: DELHI
On arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight is in Delhi.
DAY 2 : DELHI
A full day of sightseeing of Delhi is scheduled. Overnight is in Delhi.
DAY 3 : DELHI - JAIPUR
This morning you will leave for the fabled Pink City of Jaipur. Upon arrival you will check into
your hotel and then set off for a comprehensive sightseeing tour which will include visits to
Hawa Mahal, The City Palace, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar Observatory and Nahargarh Fort.
Overnight is in Jaipur.
DAY 4: JAIPUR
Another day is spent sightseeing around Jaipur. You will visit some of the vibrant bazaars
where you can purchase or simply admire many of the handicrafts for which Rajasthan is
justifiably famous. Overnight is in Jaipur.
DAY 5 : JAIPUR - RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK
From Jaipur, your next stop will be Ranthambore National Park, one of the most prominent
national parks of Rajasthan. Today you will go on an evening safari to experience India's
wildlife just as the sun is about to set. Overnight is in your hotel in Ranthambore.
DAY 6 : RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK - BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTUARY
After starting your day with an early morning safari and breakfast, you will continue on your
way to see Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. You can walk the many paths to view the largest
concentration of bird life in Asia.
DAY 7: BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTUARY - AGRA
On this day, you will leave Bharatpur and travel to your next destination: Agra and the Taj
Mahal.
After checking into your hotel you will spend several hours wandering around the Taj Mahal
grounds, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Overnight is in Agra.
DAY 8: AGRA - KHAJURAHO
From Agra you will travel to Khajuraho. While Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual
appeal of the erotic carvings, these actually form only a small part of the wealth of this site.
Overnight is in Khajuraho.
DAY 9: KHAJURAHO - BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
From Khajuraho, you will move on to Bandhavgarh National Park, a popular wildlife refuge
and home of the beautiful white tiger. The area is thick with Sal trees and bamboo and
became a tiger reserve in 1993 under the auspices of Project Tiger. Overnight is in the
resort.
DAY 10: BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
On your second day in Bandhavgarh, you will again go on safari in hopes of spotting one of
the elusive white tigers. Overnight stay in a resort.
DAY 11: BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK - KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Today you will leave Bandhavgarh National Park for another of India's natural wonders,
Kanha National Park. Here you may be able to spot Indian wild dogs, the striped palm
squirrel, the common langur, jackal, wild pig, chital, barasingha or swamp deer, sambar and
black buck. Rudyard Kipling was so impressed by this park, that he mentioned it in his
book, The Jungle Book. Overnight stay in the resort.
DAY 12 : KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Today you continue your explorations of the park with safaris scheduled for the early
morning and evening. You are also free to relax at your leisure in the park. Overnight stay in
the resort.
DAY 13 : KANHA NATIONAL PARK - NAGPUR
After an early morning safari you will leave Kanha National Park for Nagpur, the winter
capital of Maharashtra and famous for being orange-growing country. Overnight is in
Nagpur.
DAY 14: NAGPUR - DELHI
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Delhi. Tour ends.
