LOCATIONS VISITED: DELHI - SRINAGAR - MANASBAL LAKE - WULAR LAKE -
NAGEEN LAKE - SRINAGAR - DELHI
ITINERARY
DAY 1 DELHI - SRINAGAR
you are transferred to the airport for the short flight to Srinagar. On arrival, you will be
taken to your luxury houseboat accommodation on stunning Nagin Lake. In the evening
you can take a shikara boat ride on neighboring Dal Lake to witness the sunset from the
beautiful lotus gardens. Overnight is on your houseboat.
DAY 2 SRINAGAR
After breakfast you will head out for a tour of the world famous Mughal Gardens visiting
Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). You will return to
your houseboat for a hot lunch and head back onto the lake in the afternoon to enjoy the
beauty that has led to this city often being compared to Venice. The shikara paddler will
paddle you slowly around the watery markets and small bazaars floating together and
selling everything from fruit to Kashmiri saffron Overnight is on your houseboat.
Day 3: SRINAGAR – MANASBAL LAKE
Your water trek starts from Dal Lake to Manasbal Lake. Ride in a special shikara with two
oarsmen floating over the famous river Jhelum visiting ancient parts of Hagen and
entering Mansbal Lake which is famous for its water lillies and lotus flowers.
Overnight is in tents on the shore of Manasbal Lake.
Day 4: MANASBAL LAKE – WULAR LAKE
Wular Lake is the second largest lake in Asia. You will be paddled around this scenic
lake and can go ashore at Watlab where you can visit the famous Muslim shrine of Baba
Shukar Din. You will camp on the banks of Wular Lake for the night.
Day 5: WULAR LAKE – NAGEEN LAKE - SRINAGAR
After breakfast you will return to Srinagar via River Jhelum which is one of the biggest
rivers in the valley. At the end of the tour you will be taken to your houseboat for the night.
DAY 6 SRINAGAR - SONAMARG
You can take a full day excursion to Sonmarg, a beautiful hill station known as the
gateway to Ladakh. You willreturn to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and rest aboard
your houseboat.
Day 7 SRINAGAR
You will be transferred to the airport or station for your onward journey. Tour ends.
